Last May I had the pleasure of travelling to Castle Durrow, County Laois in Ireland to photograph the wedding of Jo and David. This was my first trip to the Emerald Isle and I had a thoroughly good time for three days – the location was stunning, the people friendly and the Guinness oh so smooth! Following the ceremony Jo and David decided to stop at Bob’s Bar in Durrow for a quick pint so I couldn’t really pass up the opportunity for an impromptu photoshoot before heading back to Castle Durrow to carry on the celebrations.
Apart from a few light showers the weather was pretty kind to us which meant the guests could enjoy the extensive gardens at the hotel and the celebrations went on into the night with a lot of dancing.
